This Privacy Policy explains how DigiMoksha Technologies Pvt Ltd (“SkillMoksha”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal data when you visit skillmoksha.ai, use our application at app.skillmoksha.ai, or otherwise interact with us (together, the “Services”). By using the Services you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
a. Information you give us
- Contact & account data — name, work email, phone number, company, job title, and login credentials when you sign up, request a demo, or contact us.
- Communications — messages you send us by email, live chat, or forms, and the contents of any support requests.
- Recruitment / platform content — where you use the SkillMoksha app, information you or your organisation upload (e.g., job descriptions, candidate profiles, assessment data). For this content, your organisation is typically the controller and we act as a processor on its behalf under our customer agreement.
b. Information we collect automatically
- Usage & device data — IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, referring URLs, and interactions, collected via cookies and similar technologies.
- Analytics & advertising data — via Google Analytics and the X (Twitter) Pixel, subject to your cookie choices. See our Cookie Policy.
c. Information from third parties
We may receive data from scheduling tools (e.g., Calendly when you book a demo), live-chat providers, and advertising or analytics platforms.

4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Service providers (processors) who host, analyse, or support the Services — e.g., cloud hosting (Microsoft Azure), Google Analytics, X Ads, Calendly, and our live-chat provider (Tawk.to) — under contracts that require appropriate safeguards.
- Your organisation, where you use the Services through a corporate account.
- Authorities or advisors, where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
5. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we use appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum) or transfers to jurisdictions recognised as providing adequate protection.
6. Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes above, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type; when no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data; to object to or restrict certain processing; and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email support@skillmoksha.ai.
- EEA/UK residents (GDPR): you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
- California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not sell personal information for money.
- India residents (DPDP Act): you may access, correct, and erase your data and nominate a representative; contact our Grievance Officer below.
8. Security
We implement technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices — designed to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
The Services are intended for business users and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated effective date, and, where appropriate, notified to you.
